hampir 3 bulan blog ni menyepi tiada update yang terbaru dan baru hari ini muncul kembali. 3 bulan yang lepas agak sibuk dan banyak kerja yang perlu disiapkan jadi saya tangguhkan apa update di blog. Even facebook i didn't have much update on sewing. But even I didn't have any update but still continuing my interest in sewing. Sebenarnya banyak je hasil-hasil jahitan yang dapat saya buat sepanjang 3 bulan menyepi tapi selalu lupa nak snap picture. Hanya satu yang dapat saya snap picture.
Tambahan masa raya banyak tempahan untuk baju kurung jadi ketika itu saya kurangkn pengambilan tempahan untuk dress baby. alhamdulillah sekarang ni saya dah semakin yakin untuk menjaht baju kurung and tahu cara mana dapat siapkn satu baju dengan masa yang singkat since hanya ada masa untuk menjahit pada waktu malam dan sepenuh hari untuk weekend. jadi saya cuba caru jalan penyelesaian macam mana nak siapkan jahitan kurang dari satu minggu kerana waktu terhad di waktu malam sahaja.
baru2 ni sepupu saya ada request untuk jahitkan baby dress untuk kenduri aqiqah anak buah dia. so i upload the picture here..btw, i buat one set dengan sarung tangan and kaki dan juga headband tapi no picture for that. nanti kalo owner baju ni share picture i will share with you guys also wordlesss....tak tahu dah nak tulis apa...daaaa

Tips untuk mencari kelas menjahit yang terbaik

Weekend baru-baru ni I learn new thing that I never do before. Alhamdulillah, dengan pertolongan dari Allah, I dapat menyiapkan 2 baju kurung yang ada lining. It's new experience and challenging but at least I satisfy with the result. Yang paling rumit ketika memotong kain. Wow sangat rumit and tetiba baru terasa macam mana susahnya bg seorang tukang jahit untuk menyiapkan baju lining. And baru I faham why they charge us double for one baju kurung lining. Before I always complaining why they charge so expensive for one baju lining and now I know how hard it is just to finish one baju. Sejak I dah mula bergiat menjahit, sedikit demi sedikit I mula memahami apa yang di lalui oleh setiap tukang jahit untuk menyiapkan satu baju. Paling rumit bila melibatkan kain yg licin and nipis. Even I work as mask designer I think layout design more easier than design and sew one outfit.

Walaupun menjahit agak rumit but I enjoying every moment when I sewed especially when some one wearing baju yang I jahit. Satu perasaan yang tak dapat digambarkan. I also encourage someone out there who's interested to learn on how to sewing just go for it. I can say you can save a few dollar of your money by sewing your own baju and at the same time you can earn some money from it. For me I do see a differences of how much money I can save by sewing my own baju.

Even I have a basic skill on sewing but I still lack on some area which is make me thinking to take another class to improve my skills. But then it's hard to find sewing school in Kulim area. Ada tu ada tapi I tak berkenan dengan facilities yang mereka tawarkan. Like last time, I ada cuba belajar di satu sekolah di area Lunas but sungguh tidak memuaskan hati. The owner is Chinese. First, mesin jahit yang di sedikan hanya satu which mesin jahit kaki ok, bukan mesin jahit elektrik which is I didn't even try using mesin jahit kaki before. Bila mesin jalan je mesti benang akan putus. She charge to learn for one baju melayu is for rm150 which is I think tak berbaloi dengan equipment yang disediakan make me feel she just want money but not to share the knowledge. She not really pay attention to me, she will teach a few and then ask me to figure out by myself. Make me regret to pay rm150 but then nothing I get from it. So here I have some tips for those yang tercari2 cari sekolah menjahit for short course so later you wont regret it. And for those yang baru nak buka sekolah menjahit you can use this tips to apply it in your school so you can attract more people to come to your school.

1) yang paling utama pastikan sekolah itu menyediakan lebih dari 2 mesin jahit incase mesin jahit itu tidak bole digunakan ketika kita sedang menjahit. so takde la kita nak membuang masa

2) pastikan sekolah itu ada 2 jenis mesin jahit seperti mesin jahit kaki and mesin jahit elektrik in case kte tak tahu macam mana nak gerakkan mesin jahit kaki itu.

3) pastikan sekolah itu tidak mengenakan cas bayaran belajar mengikut jam. I syorkan cari sekolah yang menawarkan caj bayaran untuk sepasang baju. sometimes kita memerlukan masa yang lebih untuk menyiapkan satu2 baju since ia bergantung pada individu. Kalo individu yang jenis fast learner maybe bole mengenakan caj bayaran mengikut jam mungkin juga bg yang ada basic. Tetapi bagi yang beginner better find school yang kenakan caj bayaran tidak mengikut jam.

4) pastikan owner kedai itu memang berkemahiran untuk mengajar.

harap info ini berguna since I dah kena few times. so before decide nak belajar tu masuk sekolah itu untuk pastikan equipment yang disediakan semoga kita tidak menyesal di kemudian hari. nanti anda juga yang rugi..hehehe

Lama I x update blog. Tajuk pun dah ucap selamat pagi sebabnya saya menaip entry ni seawal kul 7 pagi..hehe.. sekarang ni busy dengan keje yang entah bila boleh siap. dah siap satu assignment bos bg lagi assignment baru. even pagi ni kena datang ofis seawal kul 6 pagi gara-gara nak balik awal sbb nak balik KL hr ni. Yahoooo...

tapi dalam sibuk2 tu malam and weekend mesti saya x lepaskan peluang untuk menjahit, tambah2 sekarang banyak juga tempahan. but most of it tempahan untuk baju raya. fuhh lega skit sebab xla nk cepat kan. yang pening tu bila dapat tempahan semua nak cepat. dulu amik juga la tempahan yang begini sebab nak tambah pengalaman menjahit tapi sekarang terpaksa di tolak di sebabkan bila menjahit dalam keadaan tergesa2 jahitan akan menjadi tidak kemas. mcm x best la plak if customer tu tgk jahitan x cantik tapi duit amik kn. so for those yang I tolak tempahan anda, minta maaf sangat2. saya prefer kalo nak tempah tu seawal 3 weeks b4 a day happen but still depend on demand. kalo ketika itu saya banyak tempahan kemungkinan ia akan memakan masa yg lama utk di siapkn

oh yea, berita gembira saya dah ada mesin jahit tepi dah sekarang. suka tak? so aktiviti menjahit akan menjadi lebih cepat sbb x perlu lagi keluar rumah. gembira yang tak terhingga bila mesih jahit tu sampai di rumah. dan nak tahu tempahan mana yg merasmikan mesin jahit tepi baru saya..jeng..jeng..jeng..

ni la baju first yg merasmikan mesin jahit tepi saya..hehe.. baju ni adalah untuk anak buah sepupu yang berumur 2 tahun and 3 tahun. ibu tuan baju ni siap request jahit manik lagi but yang simple je la. terhasilnya jahitan manik yg simple yg mmg semua org tahu. ingat mcm nak kuatkan lagi skill jahit manik. harus menghadiri bengkel sulam manik neh..tp bila nye la ada masa...huhu..

since mesin jahit tepi dah ada, so next target I nak dapatkan mesin jahit industrial. laju skit. InsyaAllah akan di usahakan.

Oh yeah, baru2 ni saya ada dapat voucher JJ sebanyak rm900. waaaa..banyak kan? actually bukan br dpt tapi sbb saya kumpul since last year. tambah voucher JJ xde expired day lagi la heaven kn. so kumpul la banyak2 dengan target nk dapatkan TV LCD. muahaha..tinggi je berangan kn. Alhamdulillah, weekend lepas tercapai hasrat di hati utk mendapatkan TV LCD tu dengan menggunakan voucher tersebut dan saya hanya perlu menambah dalam rm200++ je lagi. bile bergurau dengan suami, mesti saya akan kata TV ni murah je dalam RM200++ jek sbb nya keluar duit sendiri sebanyak tu je. murah kan. lepas ni akan di kumpul lagi voucher JJ tu. hehehe.. InsyaAllah jika Allah memberi rezeki yg murah pada saya tahun ini. :)

2 weeks vacation

Alhamdulillah...Finally today I have spare time to update this blog after silence for some time. Actually I just got back from 2 weeks vacation. Came back to office there is a lot of work waiting for me. Even during I typing this entry, I'm still working but luckily I can continue my work from home. So even I have to stayed up to work until midnight I don't have any worries since I'm at home.

No special update on 2 weeks vacation since I just stay at my hometown. I prefer to spare more time with my husband. Even I'm on vacation I still doing some sewing work. I bring over my sewing machine to my hometown. So bad I forgot to capture a few picture for my latest art work. During that time I manage to finish 3 order which is baby dress and my new blouse shirt.

And today I just finish beading order for baju kurung moden. Alhamdulillah. Everything going smoothly and I'm also happy since all the customer satisfy with my work. I will share with you guys the beading order I just done later since I have to stop this entry to fetch my husband. See you guys and hoping you all still following this blog. Oh yeah I want to wish thank you guys for those sign as a follower for this blog. Thanks guys. I wish one day I will have so many follower.

Mieda's bag - 2

I make another version of Mieda's bag. It's a bit small than this. This time I'm not using leather handle. Since I have the smallest version I treat this as my handbag. I received a few of compliment from my family and my sister. They say it's look like made from padini since it using khakis fabric. It awesome rite? My sister and sister-in-law had place an order also. And they request by using leather handle. And also I will have to make another one for my mom since she also had request one.

Not much to say since my schedule was so tight. I had to priorities my work first. I only had manage to take one picture only and enjoy.

Women will never be separated with accessories. They loved so much accessories like I do. hehe..If we talked about the things women like, it will be no end since there is so much thing they love. It happens to me also but not everything we can have it.

I still remembered before I get married I never have handbag since I prefer wallet. But after I get married it changed, I start to love all those accessories. But I never have change to buy the expensive bag since I prefer the reasonable price as long you comfortable to wear it. If I have more money I will think of it but right now I prefer to have more saving than more handbag.

Last entry I share with you guys my latest creation. And today I have new one.
In order to match with my new bag so called Mieda's bag, I created this wrist pouch by using the same fabric. And again it turn so nicely and adore it so much. Now I have handbag and match with my wallet. It's third time I change my wrist pouch and some of my friend notice it. Since I can make it why not I change it frequently rite.








this one specially use in the office only for some reason. hehe..

I have another story, I'm a bit disappointing with one shop at Kulim. Previously I do buy my home sewing machine at same the shop. And last week I wanna to but walking and quilt foot that suit with my NV-30 brothers. But I'm a bit shocked with the price. The price was double than the original price. I do checked the price before with brother headquarters and they giving different price. For walking foot it's only RM80 but that shop sell for RM120 and also for quilting foot was originally RM31 but that shop sell for RM120. Did you see the huge differences? And then I requested with them the dealer shop at Kulim and maybe I will go there and survey how much they sell since the price was so unreasonable. Did anyone have buy any brother footer before? can you all share the price?

Mieda's bag...

Like I promise last time there is new project I will share with you guys. I make my own bag which is I adore it. It turn so nicely and so so awesome. I didn't put any stabilizer so I have to hang it to get nice view of picture. The size of bag approximately 17 " X 17". It's too big? Yes but it just nicely fit with my laptop. I receive a big laptop from my company due to we work on design team so we need to have big screen. But I'm happy. I love this bag so much.

Let me describe the detail of the bag. Outer fabric I'm using cotton drill/twill which is I found it when I go shopping at Kamdar Bukit Mertajam. Actually this cotton drill/twill is simillar like khakis fabric. For inner fabric I'm using cotton linen which is I buy online from MayMayShop. Also the leather handle I buy from MayMay too.

When I'm wear this bag, my friend will not believe it if I make it by my own. She think I buy it. Believe it or not? You should believe it that I sew this bag. I didn't buy it and it's a custom made specially made for me..hahaha.. I plan to make another smaller one. But the size should be fitted to bring my telekung also since I only have small handbag in my collection. So enjoy the picture.

Note: Sewing activity, sekarang I tengah menjahit baju kurta suami dengan berkolar yang mana I cuba elakkan untuk menjahit baju yang berkolar. For me a bit difficult when it come to kolar sewing. Selalunya mesti x menjadi, senget la, tak tegak and lembik and besar sangat la and mcm mcm lagi. But per husband request so nak tak nak I kena buat jugak. Later I will share with you guys if the kolar turn nicely or badly k. Hopefully it will turn nicely.

1st April 2011

Dah masuk hari ke-empat. selsema and batuk masih tak hilang lagi. Alhamdulillah demam dah kebah. Tapi dalam x sihat ni aktiviti menjahit masih I teruskan. Hari rabu lepas dapat MC tapi masih lagi nak menjahit. haha..cuma petang tu lepas solat zuhur, tido dalam 3 atau 4 jam kesan ubat batuk and selsema.

Hari ini sudah masuk bulan 4 dan agak-agak ada ke yang terkena "April Fool" hari ni? Di ofis macam sunyi sepi mungkin masing-masing sibuk dengan keje yang entah bila akan siap. hahaha..

Minggu lepas I ada beli e-book sulaman reben dari suzana mustafa. Dan suka sangat bila dah dapat cd tu. kena cepat2 buat ni. Yang membuatkan I excited sebab I memang dah lama teringin nak buat sulaman bunga ros yang ada kelopak tu. Cantik sangat. Harap2 dapat buat dalam tahun ni jugak. huhuhu..

Both my sister and my mom dah awal2 booked untuk jahit baju raya. Perancangan awal gitu. Sebab derang tahu I jahit baju derang lambat sebab I utamakan pelanggan dulu. So derang2 pun dah booked awal2. Walaupun raya bulan 8 tapi kami dah sibuk cari kain dalam bulan 2 lagi tu dengan kain yang sama. hahaha..Macam tahun lepas, lagi seminggu nak raya barula I kelam kabut siapkan baju mereka. Harap-harap tahun ni dapat siapkan baju mereka awal. Minta maaf la adik-adik ku.

Sebenarnya banyak wish list yang I teringin nak buat. harap2 la I dapat capai semua tu dalam tahun ni sebab macam tahun lepas banyak yang tertangguh. Tapi I bole agak dalam bulan 6 I mesti dah start sibuk dengan kerja2 ofis sebab projek tengah peak waktu tu. waa...harap la I masih bole dapat amik cuti raya seminggu. I teringin sangat nak cuba buat quilt tapi entah bila la bole dapat buat. kain dah ada cuma masa je yang takde lagi. huhu..

I have 6 days comp leave but I don't have any plan yet. Plan macam nak travel tapi tak tahu kat mana nak pegi. Rasa nak travel area malaysia je xnak keluar negara. Ada idea tak? banyak tu 6 days, sayang plak kalo x guna sebab expired sampai dalam bulan 6 jek. Maybe some of might have some question how I get those comp leave, actually my company will give an extra leave for those who participated on certain project and they will give it by end of the project. The days of leave will depends on how long you in the that project. For me, I started by early of project so I get more days compare to other started late. And this extra leave will not deducted from your annual leave. So even you stress and work hard to accomplish the project by end of project you get some award and of course you will be happy rite. Like me I just bersyukur dengan apa yang Allah gave it to me. I will try not complain since everything He gave us, He know what the best. So we better thankful for all we have now.

Jom Jahit Wallet by TiniHani

Since I'm not busy with my office work I started again blog walking. Sudah lama I tinggalkan since I was so busy previous. And last 2 days I'm reading TiniHani blog. She invited to do sew along for wallet. Interesting idea since I never try before. So I decided to give it try and here you go. Even I'm not felling well today but I had give a try to make it since I had dream to make this wallet before. But I'm still not satisfying for a few things:
1- jahitan masih tak kemas. perlu di perkemaskan lagi di masa akan datang
2- wallet a bit small. I can't even insert my card so I decided just use for putting money
3- teringin nak buat cantik secantiknya macam this walletKakAs
4- i have to use button since I don't have any magnetic button but I had order to MeiMei shop this morning. so the next wallet I will be using magnetic button. hehe..
5- forgot to put any strap so easy for me to bring to anywhere.


Tengok jahitan masih tak kemas and harus di perbaiki di masa akan datang. For the next wallet I will using magnetic button.
